AMHA End of The Year Awards

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday AMHA had there annual fall  meeting and awards meeting at the Old Spaghetti House in Salem.  It was great to see everyone there and talk about things to help bring in new ideas for the club.  After the meeting we had awards giving out for the 2013-2014 show season.

Jordan:
Jordan received Champion for 13-18 Showmanship and Champion for YOTE classic.
Also got Reserve Champion for 13-18 Halter obstacle and YOTE Halter Mares.

Benjamin:
Champion in 12 & Under halter obstacle,
Champion Showmanship
Champion Hunter!

Katie:
Champion in Amateur halter obstacle
Champion in Showmanship with Rosie
Reserve Champion Country Pleasure with Crystal.

Pleased feel compelled to participate in the Annual Membership meeting. Your input and participation is a valuable and critical part of our organization! Also, please join us to celebrate with the high point winners who have shown hard all year to be rewarded by our club’s year end presentations.

 The Old Spaghetti Warehouse is a quaint, family owned restaurant in Downtown Salem. Dinner will be a buffet of pasta with different sauces, salad, bread and dessert. The restaurant is one block from the Salem Carrousel park, so there will be something for the kids to do during the meeting. There is parking on State Street between the restaurant and the park, and 1-1/2 block away, on the one way street North, is a parking garage. For a map, please follow this link

This flashy 7 year old black bay pinto mare with bright blue eyes, measuring 31" at the North By Northwest show. Crystal has been professionally trained by Patty Cloke for driving... and has successfully competed in open, amateur, and youth Country Pleasure Driving classes.

With fall already here, we have a covered arena for the boys to practice.  They love to keep their horses conditioned well.  Awesome job guys!

Miniature Horse Schooling Show is scheduled for April 5th at VFM Miniature Horse Farm. Profit from the show will go to the NWMHC's Youth Program. Entry form is also available on the NWMHC site. Hello everyone,

I am getting lots of requests for the Patty Cloke Driving Clinic. Please remember that you need to pre-register for the clinic. Be sure to put your e-mail on the registration form so I can contact you with your time with Patty. Saturday is going to fill up fast, so if there is anyone who could come on Friday, the 28th in the afternoon or evening please let me know. Also, we are taking Patty out for dinner at the Hillsboro IHOP near the airport. Anyone who would like to join us is welcome to come. Should be a fun evening!!!
